The Luck stat does NOT affect your race reroll chances. It only impacts mining drops and loot.
Don't apply runes until you get the Arcane Pickaxe. Lower-tier pickaxes will be replaced quickly.
Follow this pickaxe order for optimal progression:
Before upgrading to your next pickaxe, buy a Bronze Pickaxe first. Then sell your current pickaxe to recover gold. This lets you keep mining while freeing up funds to afford the next tier faster.
Only apply runes to the Arcane Pickaxe – don't waste them on lower tiers. Equip all 3 Luck Runes for maximum luck. Each Luck Rune provides up to 16% bonus at max.
For a quick gold boost, complete the Monkey Quest, Line's Quest, and work on Rowan's and Moro's quests. Once those are done or hard to progress, refer to the Money Making Methods section below.
Best ways to earn gold in The Forge
Kill high-tier enemies to collect Essence, then sell it for significant profit. This is one of the most consistent gold sources in the game.
💡 Tip: Focus on high-tier zones for better Essence drops and higher sell prices.
Craft Heavy Armor or Colossal Swords and sell them. These high-tier items fetch the best prices and are ideal for converting ores into gold.
💡 Tip: Use common ores for crafting items to sell - save rare ores for your own equipment.
Recommended Purchase Order for Maximum Efficiency
Doubles your inventory capacity, letting you mine and store twice as many resources without frequent trips back.

Allows you to sell items from anywhere on the map, saving time traveling back to shops.

Increases your luck and xp gain by 10%.
Lets you access your forge from any location, eliminating the need to return to your base to craft.
